World Adventures Size Is Enormous
According to Snooty in this post, the size of World Adventures is approximately 3.43 gb. That is enormous for just one EP. When I read that, my eyes widened. I shudder to imagine how the future EP’s will turn out in size. And eventually it adds up. A Super Star remake sounds like it could be huge as well if packed with enough content (which most likely it will be). I just hope my computer can handle it. It runs TS3 very fast on max settings but after so many EP’s installed, the game will eventually slow down. And I would hate to uninstall any of the EP’s if I have use for all of them. We’ll see how WA runs on the 17th!

So what most computer have a 1TB drives in them now

That’s irrelevant, as space was not what I was concerned about. Obviously the game will slow down as you install more packs, especially large packs.

ehhhhh….you’ll be paying high prices for pre-built machines with 1TB harddrives in them, as they still cost near an average of $100 per drive. I bought two for my machine recently to run in RAID 0. The most common machines that are low end usually come with 320GB to 500GB. Yeah, as years pass by games will keep increasing in size. He’s just saying that’s a lot for an expansion. All Sims 2 games – 17 total – come out to 15.9GB. It’s only going to take 5 expansions if they continue the route :P

We won’t have 5 EP’s, though; that’s an underload! We need at least 8 to equal to Sims 2.
