I Got My WA Copy Today + Guide
Yes, I know I said I was not going to get the Prima but seeing as how I could not find any guides for World Adventures, I figured I’d get the guide for now since they are not entirely inaccurate, just completely accurate. And if you are planning on getting your game at Game Stop and you want the guide as well, make sure you get them together in the same purchase to get 10% off the guide. Twenty dollars for a guide is already more than enough, so you at least get two dollars off. But this sale doesn’t apply when you purchase them separately. I am going to install the game and play and then I will eventually write my own review to post here. I will be as fair as possible in my review (no need to kiss up to EA just to stroke their ego). I uploaded two webcam shots of the game packaging and guide as my proof. oI only hope that the game won’t be slow because ever since I installed the latest patch, my game’s speed decreased by over 50% when it was super fast before on the same settings. We’ll see! I’ll definitely make notes about that in my review. Oh… and the guide is still in color! I say this because for Sims 2, only the base game Prima guide was in color while the rest of the EP guides were in black-and-white. That’s nice!

I have The Sims 2 Apartment Life prima guide and it’s in full cover. Congrats on getting the game!

Thank you! Then it must have changed later on because OFB’s guide was my last one for Sims 2 and that and Uni were in black-and-white. Maybe they changed later on. I’m glad they did because it’s not very fair to pay $20 for a guide that isn’t even completely accurate with information and it not be in full color. Colors are very essential to Sims so a colorless guide is a bit pointless aside from the information it provides. And after scanning through the WA one, it looks like it’s from the same woman who did the Sims 3 base game one (Catherine Brown). At least this guide is packed with many things, including maps of all tombs and how to get through them. So apparently the guide won’t be that worthless after all.

Way to go, Frankie! Hope WA will fix your game’s current problems – fingers crossed.

Aw, thanks! I’m actually flipping through the guide and discovered that France has 23 books! That is just for France alone! 3 of them are for the nectar skill and one of them is a new Jimmy Sprockett book. I should list them in a separate post for all three countries. There are also more foods than what EA said there were.
