A big thank you for the Sims 3 Patches
It brings a tear to my eye to see the community work together to achieve such awesome things. Without your help I would have never found all 15 patches for the past 3 game updates (1.6.6, 1.7.9 and 2.2.8). It took some time uploading them but they are now available to download via their respective pages:
I wish there was something I could do about the Mac users who were left out, but at this time I don’t think The Sims team has your patch ready for you just yet. So yeah, thanks to all of the members who helped pass along links and images my way. I owe you one

“if i never did the upload of the crappy patch when it came out, what do I do?”
I don’t have WA because I go to college and being broke is one of the side effects.

I updated from 1.4. to 1.7. yesterday. The game has some problems because of the mods that have not been updated for a new patch, so I deleted them, except one mod that has been updated for the new patch. I only have one mod, and the game now is fine. I don’t have W.A. yet.

so should I wait for another patch or is the 1.7 patch everything? I don’t use custom content, mods, hacks, none of that.

There is bound to be another patch within the next two to three weeks to fix the many mistakes from 1.6.6 and World Adventures
