can you put families into the town so when you start playing it (after exporting ect) the familys are already there?? Like in Sunset Valley or River View.

Sorry Leelee, I don’t think they have any plans at the moment to port the tool over to Mac. There is a huge outcry over at the official Sims 3 forums about this, but as far as I’m aware, the SimGuru’s aren’t commenting on it.

I have a pc so this is ok for me but mac users wont be able to use it, FOR NOW!
they said they would update it so i hope that means next time they update the tool there will be a mac version! at the moment macs can talk to a friend that has the sims 3 create a world tool and ask if they can go over and use it, or give a friend on the site instructions for what you want. Yes its not the best but we should just wait.

Seems you can’t add lots to existing neighbourhoods. That’s the worst flaw in the game. Although it’d be fun to create a new world someday, right now I’m just interested in editing the one I’m already playing in. I really don’t have the time to spend a month or more just create an entirely new world just to get a few more large lots.

Simulate, I think existing worlds can’t be edited but the existing locations from EA will be avaliable as templates

Lol Yeah they’re just lazy to push the upload button… those lazy lazy programmers… Btw It’s December 15th here already and they haven’t put it up, but I’m guessing they will release it at a midnight or something… if not I’m gonna spam them so hard their site will be off for a few weeks.

Hmm curious, there’s a world up on the exchange and at the bottom of the create-a-world page there’s a tick to accept EA terms… I smell it’s coming very VERY soon.

As a modding amateur, can I use this tool just to add a few new lots on unused areas of Riverview or Sunset valley.
