yea i downloaded the sims 3 caw and its great but when i installed the patch for it it no longer worked with the game-so i uninstalled the caw and re installed it from ea-did not install the patch and then it said error-corrupted data-uselly occurs when data is write protected, i checked no write protection weird just waiting for new patch.

I got my caw but it didnt work from the get go…cause ive got ambitions,apparently the patch breaks caw.

My CAW is running okay so far. Just that I can’t seem to get any objects added to the world such as trees and what not. But we’ll see.

Thanks for the second one-CAW WalkThrough. I download CAW, but have not installed it yet. I also have not updated a new patch. People over at Sims 3 forum are having problems with CAW after updated a new patch. Some are saying the game won’t working, CAW kept crashing, etc. Hopefully, EA will fix these before Friday.

I am going to back up the saved game and remove all CC, mod, and etc before updating a new patch and CAW. I then will put them back into, and also update new mods when they are available.

I downloaded it and I’m trying it now. It’s fun so far. In the help section, it links you to a tutorial/guide in .pdf format, which opens up in an Internet browser. I can’t wait to see all the new towns to play in since the EA ones are getting a bit boring.
