A user on the official forums posted a message relating to a Dutch store in which a second expansion, The Sims 3: Hobbies and Professions, is listed. The Superstar Rumour looks like it was High End Loft Stuff, how far off do you think this rumour will be from the truth. Here a rough translation of the posted message:
I know someone who works at Bart Smith who told me yesterday that the new release list had been inside, and there was a new sims 3 in expansion: The Sims 3 Hobbies and Professions. If all goes well it comes out on June 4, exactly one year later that the sims 3 released.

But like I said in my post, I think it’s too hard and too simple for the devs to create this. It’s too simple to offer something this small but then won’t they need rabbit holes for every new career/hobby?

Sorry about that folks (and Simillion), not sure why but apparently the default role for new members that sign up was a contributor and I did not know that. So I changed it back to subscriber, Simillion wasn’t *suppose* to have access along with a dozen other folks :P
To be honest, as long as the next expansion pack is, you know, actually worthwhile for our Sims and gives them something to do at home (I mean, WA added like nothing for normal home gameplay), then I’ll be happy. Ideally I want Apartment Life, Nightlife and a touch of Superstar in one pack. Call it something lame like City Life or something. I know it’s not anything new, but I’d still love it.

This title sounds like a combination of Freetime(hobbies) and Superstar(professions:actor,singer,model etc.)I’d love to see that…
Hmmmm…… I have to say I was pretty pumped for a Pets EP (Which is the other rumored EP) however I think I can work with a hobby EP too, I really want some new things to do such as musical instruments, careers, craftables etc.
This theme could actually be pretty interesting if done properly. I could see Super Star elements and Free Times elements, thus, you get to please two sides of the coin: those who want added gameplay at home and those who want added gameplay outside of home. I hope we get more pets, too. Not necessarily a Pets EP but at least a new pet or two each EP, even if it’s caged. A little bit of everything can definitely become a major pleaser.

Personally though – I think this is real with the list reader an all… He just wouldnt risk his job by spreading famous fake rumours.
