I’ve been holding off on posting this for some as I had to shift thru a bunch of other emails before checking it out, but fansite Sims-3.net created a wonderful neighborhood based on the Roman Empire called Imperium Romanum!

Put your Sims in the golden age of the Roman Empire.  Live in one of 30 beautifully designed homes from the starter home to the ruler’s palace – tastefully decorated and properly styled.  Or you can even create your own residential property on one of the six free building lots in the city.
