IGN: Spore Origins iPhone review
I tried to look at Spore through both the eyes of a hardcore gamer and a casual one. Obviously, the casual gamer is the target here, as the game features simple gameplay. Really, this is just a game about tilting your creature into smaller creatures. But the ability to customize it to your liking at regular intervals saves it from being a Feeding Frenzy clone. Hardcore gamers might be put off by the short stages (each one lasts only a minute or two depending on how quickly to gather DNA), but the evolution stuff should keep them interested. If not, well, that’s why there are games like Asphalt 4 on the App Store, too.
