For some of you, it’s already 2009. Where I’m at, only 2 more hours to go. Hopefully I can make it…feeling sleepy :P

Happy New Year!
Hopefully, this year will start better than last year ended. High winds pulled down the phone and cable lines at my aunt’s house so she didn’t come over for New Year’s. Then our power went out for 5 hours so we couldn’t even cook the food for the party.
I don’t know this year doesn’t seem to be starting off much better. I was supposed to record the Mummer’s parade for family out of state but two minutes into the recording the VCR ate the tape. Oh well, I didn’t really want to record it for them anyways.

That sounds horrible. Let’s just hope all of the bad luck happened for the start of 2009 so the rest of the year can be peaceful
