Now it really is official – The Sims 2 Apartment Life
Yep, it’s confirmed as the 8th expansion pack and it’s titled The Sims 2 Apartment Life. The official Sims 2 website has a small teaser on the main page that links to a better looking info sheet that was posted earlier.

There is not that much info yet to comment on yet. I am amazed hotels weren’t included in Open For Business and Bon Voyage. How hard would it have been to enable beds for visitors in Open for Business, and let players charge using the ticket machine??? Also sounds like a very focused expansion, like University and Pets.

* I can’t edit my comment. What I meant was, there were not player-run hotels in Bon Voyage. Yes I know you can stay at a hotel, but a player can not run their own.

I’m curious on how this expansion is going to work. To be honest, running an apartment…well doesn’t seem like a fun idea, but hopefully Maxis can find some way of making it entertaining.
And for the comments…I failed.. It was suppose to work…but when I tried to edit the comment, it wouldn’t load it for those to edit. :/ Can’t figure out what is wrong with it.
