I was waiting for one of these to be created!  Sadly, it is for Mac computers only… The programs section for Spore has just been launched with the Spore Countdown Timer Widget for Mac. 

This nifty widget is a timer which counts down to Spore’s release date (September 7th 2008).  It also includes some links to check out out for when you need your fix of drool-worthy new spore details.

Hopefully this will motivate someone to create a Vista one along with various Spore RSS feeds (feel free to use mine)!
