The high-quality art for The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition box has been released, thanks to SimsDomination for the find. As for the rating, it’s not the US rating – I think it’s of another region.

But it says only for Sexual References, which means it’s for a more conservative country that requires Sims 3 to be of a higher rating. In Thailand Sims games according to user “The T”, the Sims all use bathing suits to shower or bathe. Maybe if they want to prevent that, the rating will go up higher, but that’s just because certain countries are strict about those things. This is obviously not the box art for the U.S., version but I assume it will be similar.

By the way, I hope that the actual DVD case (as far as cover/artwork) will be the same as the standard version and just that the C.E. will come in an extra box but WITH the same case as the standard version inside the C.E. box. I really like the artwork of the standard box much better. The C.E. one is too plain.

That looks like our Australian ratings. All the Sims games since Livin’ Large have been rated M for Mature over here for Sexual References.
