Game Guys Review: “Sims 3″ for the PC
The Sims 3, however, isn’t all good as it suffers from the same problem that the previous editions do. For as addictive as the gameplay is, it can get tedious and rather dull after a while. When that happens, don’t be surprised if you find yourself saving and quitting the game not to start it back up for a while. Also, the clock moves way too fast for it to be very realistic. For example, it takes a sim roughly 11 minutes to brush his teeth. Eleven minutes is a very long time for anybody to brush their teeth. The faster-than-needed passage of time means there’s less time in the day to do things, which sometimes leads to unnecessary frustration with the game.
Can’t argue with that fact…heck if I brushed my teeth for that long, I’d probably brush them away! EA/Maxis needs to reconsider adjusting the timing for certain activities!

That’s the first time I heard anything about the clock moving too fast, though. Everyone complains about how slow Ultra Speed is. :P
