Rumor update – The Sims 3 Destination Adventures or ‘The Sims 3 World Adventures?
A number of sites are starting to take pre-orders for the rumored first Sims 3 Expansion pack. It was known as ‘Destination Adventures’ when it was first reported, but now it seems that the name has changed to The Sims 3 World Adventures. Of course, outside of all of this, it’s not 100% confirmed…however I’m willing it’ll have something to do with traveling or vacations.
Oh, and thanks to all of the people – SimGalaxy, SnootySims, SimsFanZone and Luke for passing the info along my way 
P.S. – The logo I am using is a quick mock-up that I created from The Sims 2 World Adventure expansion pack. I believed in certain countries they used this name instead of ‘Bon Voyage’. Just thought you should know so it won’t confuse anyone!

You just did an error the first time you annonce the name, you take the title from a french website where it was “Destination Aventure” (What is totally in French) and add a “d” to translate it in english.
So “Destination Adventure” is not an alternative title for the game, but just the name in French and “World Adventures” seems to be the one in English.

Whoops…I do apologize. It sounded very close to the English words ‘Destination Adventure’ which IMO has a very nice tone to it. So the US was probably ‘World Adventures’ all along! Doh. Thanks for the clear-up!

I think World Adventures is a lot more likely, because Destination Adventure doesn’t sound correct!

Oooh, maybe this will be the pack to also introduce us to town creation? Remember that we were “guaranteed” one since last year but as a tool. And in the files of the game the towns are titled worlds. This could also seem like an idea from Spore’s first EP titled “Galactic Adventures” and there could be some elements to it. After all, we’d essentially be creating our own towns. Of course with a vacation add-on, not just town creation. Because a vacation EP is the only other logical theme to this EP. And I agree, a vacation EP without weather is pointless. Even in the first Sims, the vacation EP had a snowy area and a sunny area. Let’s hope EA is thinking logically here, for once.

@ConnorJack: As the first comment says, it’s Destination Aventure in French. Which is the french title for the game. So, literally translated is Destination Adventures, and, as Jud said, is very similar to the English words “Destination and Adventure”.

Yes this is the first expansion pack then the town creator, but Russia thinks a country expansion pack is comeing but it might be a trick to sim fans so dont take this seriously.

asking for more? Someone with the “Oh I want also Seasons and Pets… blah.blah.blah.”
Or the “Yeah and the town creator is an EP blah, blah, blah” and all the problem for the Destination Aventure…. because it’s french and all that shit!
Stop it at once… At least there’s a possible EP for the end of this year so is better to wait than to bother everyone asking for more things!
