SimWay is accepting questions for The Sims 3 World Adventures
SimWay contacted me with an offer to submit some of the reader’s questions as they’ll be one of a few who’ll be playing The Sims 3 World Adventures during GamesCom 2009! The event will take place from August 19-23, so please leave your questions as comments in this post! I’ll shoot him the link and they’ll pick the best ones to answer!

How will the game handle loading screens? Will it still be seamless, or will it have to load the vacation spots?

When your sim is travelling to the new destinations will you be able to follow them like for example go on the plane with them or boat or just car? Also, Will the Eifle tower be in the game???

01. Will Sims finally be able to swim in the ocean and ponds? 02. Will there be nightclubs, bars, pubs, etc.? 03. Will time freeze while on vacation, as in, will Sims not on vacation still age and progress?

Will these destinations be attached to our main hood, just like it was with TS2?
Say if you have a family in Sunset Valley. Their kid moves to France. Will Sunset Valley age? Or will the kid come back as an elder, only to find his parents as adults?
Can sims just… go on vacation? Will there be hotels for them to stay at? Or is this strictly an adventure/exploration EP?

What will be some of the new Rabbit holes? And will they be usable in the home hoods (Hoping for an italian restaurant)

Are the “puzzles” optional or we should solve them with all the sims going abroad again and again?
Is there going to be “Paris” or some generic French villages?
How many rabbit holes and normal functioning community lots (ones we can actually visit with our sims) are there in the new towns?
What exactly is the “basic camp”?

Will the weather be included in this expansion as I was hoping it would come with the base game? Even with Sims 1 we had snow… And will this expansion introduce creatures or aliens or something else?

I also forgot to ask… will there be any hot tubs, jacuzzis, etc.?
