It’s ALIVE: EA’s pulse picks up on Impulse

Being a Steam user, I can slightly understand why some would want to purchase a game via digital distribution. However, some people are against Steam and it’s “always online” method of DRM. Luckily for you there is an alternative, Stardock’s Impulse service. EA announced earlier today that 4 of their games are now available for downloading: The Sims 3, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Uprising, and Spore.
Sadly, if you are against DRM, then avoid these releases – they come with SecuROM.
