The Sims Team makes up of a number of projects.  You have a very small team (if you can even call it that) still working on Sims 2 getting the expansions compiled, boxart designed, etc. Then we have the MySims Team and the SimAnimals Team…after that, there is The Sims 3 Team which is probably split into multiple groups to cover the base game, expansion and stuff packs.  However, little did you know they also have a small team on the go cleaning people’s carpets.  I wouldn’t be surprised if they would even redecorate for you…

It’s worth it for the tents alone. My little one-man pyramid of canvas was bought so as not to waste precious hours returning to the hotel whilst out on a long expedition, but it was upon realising it was in my Sim’s inventory on my return to homely Riverview that I realised its true worth.

Why, I can sleep anywhere! Outside the bookshop! In the park! In my ex-girlfriend’s garden! In the graveyard. Pfft. I don’t need a house now I’ve got a tent. There are toilets at work, computers in the library, and I can always pull off a guerrilla shower whilst visiting a mate’s house. Truly, this is the life.

The Sims Slovenija is back with part two of their World Adventures review!  This time they are covering the topics of martial arts, photography and Egypt!

There are three pyramids in Egypt, Pyramid of the Burning Sands, The Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of the Wind. I wanted to send my Sim to explore the Great Pyramid, but I quickly finished the exploration … I didn’t have the right keystone to continue. And before writing something, I’ll need to tell you something else. When completing the adventures (or opportunities, whatever you prefer) you’ll get Ancient Coins, that can be used for buying special items, like food that will also re-generate some energy or escape dust. To buy those things, you’ll need at least visa level 1, besides the coins to pay for the stuff! Ok, now to write what I wanted, amongst these special items, there’s a skeleton key, that should work as a master key that would unlock all locks you don’t have any keys for. But as of now, those keystones don’t work at all … oh well, I hope EA releases new patch soon.

It appears the Mac users are now able to update their game within their launcher…A post has been added to the official Sims 3 site that the 1.7/2.2 mac patch has been made available.  It fixes two problems:

• Fix for save file incompatibilities that result in the Error Code 16 error message while saving.
• Mac only: Fix to app forwarding so that World Adventures Mac users can download store and exchange content.

Considering I’m not too knowledgeable on the Mac patches, if anyone knows where I can download all of the regions for the Mac please let me know.  I also believe I’ll need the 1.5/1.6 Mac patch as well.

If you start feeling drowsy from all this exploring and trying to work out how to get out the lost library, then feel free to take a nap inside a sarcophagus. It’s worth noting though, that when you wake up, you may have found you’ve been mummified while you were sleeping! Although you live longer as a result of having your vital body organs removed and wrapped up in linen, you are more prone to catching fire and you can’t move around as quick as you used to be able to.

I need to get my act together and install World Adventures!  In fact, I should be installing at this moment…not sure what’s putting it off :/  Guess its my fear of mummies.  Speaking of which, Heritage Key takes a look at the Egypt destination and shares their thoughts on the undead.
