Check out this object found in The Sims 3 Showtime. We’ve seen easter eggs like this in the past that hints at the next expansion’s theme. Of course, it’s pretty much a given what it is from the sliders, magical effects, and other things found in the latest patch.

Like Jud, I am a huge Doctor Who fan. Albeit I’ve gotten into the long running show later than Jud and others, I love it. So much so that I am very excited about the new game, Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. Here’s a Developer Demo via IGN below!

More proof is 2 new CAS sliders added with patch 1.32. Whilst this is freakin’ awesome! We have a little favor to ask of y’all. PLEASE do NOT bug the Gurus about this. Not of Facebook, Twitter or the Forums. Due to their own embargos inside of EA, they can’t talk about this stuff until the higher-ups say it’s ok. Don’t shoot the messenger, unless it’s Windows Live Messenger. lol So what do y’all think? If true, could this be the last Sims 3 EP, set to go out with a big bang? EA To Open New Studio in Gothenburg Sweden

Game Engines of new… made specifically for next-gen consoles. One being Wii U and the others… nobody knows their names or stage in development yet. Anyways, EA is opening up a new place, this time in Sweden. It will be used to develop games for the Frostbite 2 Engine. This new game engine was used in BF3 and NFS: The Run.

Game On: What are your thoughts on the success we’ve seen in the U.S. this year, with Major League Gaming and eSports attracting huge live crowds and streaming audiences?
Will Wright: Well, it’s something that’s actually been around for a while in countries like Korea, and we’re starting to get more gamer culture television programming on G4 and that kind of stuff. If you look at some of the game shows out there like Ninja Challenge. These things are looking more and more like games…even the pure television shows. We’ve obviously had this model for a long, long time in professional sports and we never really thought of gaming in that way. There’s always been a very big wall between gaming and sports. It’s taken a long time for people who started thinking of videogames as a spectator sport as opposed to something you often do personally. When you look at any of these major sports, it took decades for them to grow viewership and fans and formats and leagues and basically put the show biz in watching these things. I think videogames are recapitulating that in some sense.

In addition to ceramics, I have another ‘addiction’ and that is playing a computer game: The Sims 3. Under the pseudonym Hiki I run as a webmaster – together with 8 team members – a great fansite about this game: Sims News.
The symbol or icon for this game is called with this symbol plumbob and I have been going on with clay. So I made some plumbob objects including a type of bottle / vase 30 cm high, you can hang plumbob (26 cm high) and some smaller items you can use as a paperweight. The latter are of porcelain.
I myself am quite happy with it and it’s a great impetus to do something more to do with this kind plumbobs.
