If you are a gamer, then I thought you would appreciate this. I decided to decorate my office with some 8-bit Nintendo characters made out of post-it notes. So far, I made Luigi but I hope to have Mario and Link soon.

I never played an MMO before, but I’m a huge, huge fan of Stargate. I am excited for this game, sad to say, more than Spore or The Sims 3! But I’ll still purchase those games.

I read this over at Urban Online Entertainment. Spore is one of the games on PC Gamer’s list of Top 8 Expected Games of 2008. He added some scans from the magazine which you can view here. I, myself cannot wait to try out Spore, but I know I’m going to have to buy a new computer… Hopefully it will be a laptop!

I’m so glad I got my Christmas shopping already done. I knew ahead of time that the months of October, November and December is going to be a gamer’s dream come true, as well as a nightmare! Too many games are pouring out, and it’s not letting up. In fact, I just got Super Mario Galaxy today. Once I get paid Friday, I’m going to be looking around on the various websites to see what coupons or deals that are going on. Can we say Cheapassgamer for the win!? LOL
As for the games I plan to pick up, hopefully I can snatch:

In this thread (must be registered to view) over at Cheapassgamer.com, a member has posted information about an upcoming 2-day sale at Toys R Us. It appears that they will have 50% off of select Sims PC games which include The Sims 2: Bon Voyage Expansion Pack for $14.99 (originally $29.99) and The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff Expansion Pack for $9.99 (originally $19.99).
These are excellent prices, so I suggest if you need to do some christmas shopping for a Sims fan, check out Toys R Us on November 9th and 10th. They might also have deals going for all sims games, but I cannot confirm that at this time.

Oh man, this is too great to pass up! I planned on getting The Simpsons Game for the Wii when it comes out, but this makes it a Day 1 purchase. Check out the :24 second mark in the video below to see what I mean.
