Bustin’ makes me feel good…

…Technically, I won’t be able to feel good until Fall of 2008 when the game comes out…However at least we get details and screengrabs of the game in action. If you head on over to IGN they were able to have hands on and a Studio Tour of Ghostbusters 3: The Videogame.

Sigh….October 2008 is a long, long time to wait.

On a Sims-related note, does anyone have any Ghostbusters Sims 2 Downloads, objects or stories to share? I’d love to see them!

I’m ready for Christmas! Are you?

Ever since I switched over to WordPress, it has made updating a whole lot easier. Not to mention, I can even create changes in the layout with ease! So I’m giving it a shot and I’ll be going with a Christmas theme until Christmas is over. I hope it doesn’t take away from the site, as the original design will be back once the holiday season is over.

Speaking of the holiday season, did anybody get a chance to watch “Shrek the Halls” on ABC last night? It was great, much better than Shrek the Third. Even though he is annoying, Donkey is my favorite along with Puss and Boots. The way the animators handle their expressions….is downright awesome.

I took the time to create an animated gif of perhaps the cutest (yes, I’m not afraid to use that word) animation on the net of today. If this does not make you smile, you have no soul.

Shrek the Halls, Puss in Boots, Christmas Hat

Oh, and before I leave, can there ever be such a thing as too many tutorials? I added about 30+ tutorials to The Sims 2 section today, and more will be added this weekend. Enjoy everybody!

Oh Dukes Christmas tree, oh Dukes Christmas tree…

Decided to try something different this year for the Christmas tree. Yes, it’s true….I’m a redneck. Can’t ya’ll tell :P

Excellent Song by “Whiskey Falls”

I first heard of the group “Whiskey Falls” from when they appeared on the Rick and Bubba Show. Their single that they’ve released – “Last Train Running” is a beautiful song. You need to listen to it if you haven’t…which is why I’m posting this:

Whoa! Ghostbusters is coming back!!!

Ghostbusters has always been one of my all-time favorite movies, so it’s my duty to post about this. Chances are high that we will never see Ghostbusters 3 since they are too old and Bill Murray is against it. But this is just as good. Game Informer‘s December magazine has….you guessed it, details on a new Ghostbusters video game!

Here is what Game Informer has to say:

Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd are getting back together to make a sequel to Ghostbusters 1 and 2 – in video-game form, and we’ve got the first details. The three are teaming up for scriptwriting and voice and are going far beyond just the typical licensed add-your-voice-to-the-game-you-had-nothing-to-do-with formula.

I hope this will come out to the Wii. Can you imagine the Wii Remote being used as a Proton Gun!? Freakin sweet!

There is only one question regarding this information. Why no mention of Ernie Hudson?

….Next paycheck, I’m going to be broke!

Daaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so glad I got my Christmas shopping already done. I knew ahead of time that the months of October, November and December is going to be a gamer’s dream come true, as well as a nightmare! Too many games are pouring out, and it’s not letting up. In fact, I just got Super Mario Galaxy today. Once I get paid Friday, I’m going to be looking around on the various websites to see what coupons or deals that are going on. Can we say Cheapassgamer for the win!? LOL

As for the games I plan to pick up, hopefully I can snatch:

  • SimCity Societies (PC)
  • Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals (Wii)
  • Raymond Raving Rabbids 2 (Wii)
  • Link’s Crossbow Training (Wii)
  • Mario & Sonic at the Olympics (Wii)

As you can see, I love me some Nintendo :D There are a few more games I’d like to pickup, but with those and 6 other games I still need to finish….man I’m going to be busy!

LOL @ Superman

If you are a fan of Superman, then I’m sure you’ve heard of Superdickery.com. It lists tons of comics where Superman is caught acting like….well, a dick. Well, I came across this re-cut of the movie Superman II, he does live up to his standard! LOL :D

Famous People that I met…

I met just about everybody involved in the Dukes of Hazzard Series except Tom Wopat. I have gotten their autographs spread out on various cars. Here are a few pictures of my encounters.

Dukes of Hazzard – 68′ Dodge Charger WIP

After saving some money, I managed to of finally been able to afford a 2nd Generation Charger (68, 69 and 70 models). When a 68 Charger became available locally in our area, it was my time to snatch one! It needs a ton of work to get it road worthy – I mean a ton!

What did I get myself into?!?

My plans is to convert it over to a 69, which involves changing the grille, sidemarker holes, and tailpanel area. I plan to put in a 440 Big Block and have a saddle tan interior. It’s not going to be like all of the Lee’s you see, this one is going to be a little bit more customized. I hope to include a GPS system in the dash area with a TV/DVD player for car shows, customized flags on the deck, and a few mods to do some quick and easy burnouts!

More pictures ahead after the jump!

Dukes of Hazzard – 72′ Plymouth Satellite

As Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane would say, “Kew Kew Kew I love it, I love it!”. We’ve got another addition with a 1972 Plymouth Satellite as an Hazzard County Sheriff Cop Car. This type of car was used in the early Georgia episodes of the show. My parents and I pitched in money and bought it.

1972 Plymouth Satellite Custom Sheriff Car

It is in a really decent shape. It was bought from a friend down in Cleveland, Al who runs a bodyshop known as Xtreme Machines. He has done a great job. Other than a few mechanical issues that have to be worked out, it is a fun driver and runs really great!

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the pics!
