LadyM (good friend and sims fan) will be thrilled when she finds out that our Sims can now cruise in a custom-made Mini Cooper created by Leesester over at Mod The Sims! When you buy a Mini Cooper in real life, it can be customized quite a bit which is why Leesester gave us the option to give it a different coloured roof, wing mirror and body paintjob. Fresh Prince just blows me away with his creations! One of my favorite cars is the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard. While the item in this post is not a General Lee, it is based on the model that they used in the series – a 1969 Dodge Charger. Of course, I’m not just a fan of General Lee’s in general – I love all Chargers, no matter what color they are painted. The bodystyle is freakin’ gorgeous and in my opinion, one of the best cars that Dodge ever created – I own two, after all (a 1973 Charger and a 1968 Charger work in progress).
My jaw literally hit the floor when I saw this bad boy over at Mod The Sims, and it tickles me to death to share it with you all

Replace that boring old in-game cell phone with something more sleek and modern. Apple fans will be delighted as Fresh Prince Creations created the iPhone for our Sims to enjoy!
Download this custom object (which overwrites the default cell phone) over at Mod The Sims!
Note: The phone is extremely shiny and reflective if you use it outside. Nothing to worry about, as sometimes the real iPhone is hard to see outside in the daylight

The NPD Group released their statistics for the month of February, showing how well various games did in the US market. EA took a huge chunk of sales for last month with 8 games on the chart, 6 of them being from The Sims lineup! Impressive, yet they still report that they are losing money…

Who IS that bunny who sometimes lurks the corners of TheSims3.com pages?!
Sometimes he’s toting a cupid’s bow and arrow, sometimes he’s dressed up like a leprechaun!
We’ve noticed many of you wondering who or what he is, and…what does he have to do with The Sims?
Many of you may remember him from The Sims 2. You might have seen him staring back at your Sims when grabbing something from the frozen section at their local grocery store. Or you might see him on any of your Sims’ clothing.

But where is he in The Sims 3?
Have your Sim kids dig out some toys from their toy box – you just might see a pink, wide-eyed critter. In CAS, you might see a kid’s tshirt with the bunny riding on a skateboard.

Ahoy! EAMobile hopes that you didn’t update your iPhone / iPod Touch versions of The Sims 3 yet as there is a major bug – all your saved games will be lost! The Sims Team is investigating this issue but would like to inform you that if you see it available to update in the App Store, do NOT proceed to do so.
For those of us that already updated their game, there is no fix for us at this time. Hopefully EA can chime in what to do if you are one of the early victims of this patch.

Coming off of a listing that SimFans found, SimWay picked up another listing of The Sims 3 Ambitions Anniversary Edition on the German Amazon site. At the time of the first post, we did not know what this edition contained, but thanks to Amazon, it appears to be a special anniversary book.
So far, this has only been confirmed to be coming out in Germany, but hopefully we’ll see something similar for a US (and other areas) release!

I covered a post earlier last week that HMV had The Sims 3 Ambitions up for pre-order, but now they have it discounted for £12.99! Not bad, if you love saving money this is probably a good deal as it was £27.99. Thanks to reader Tom Wade for sending in the tip!

The Sims 3 has received a new update for the iPhone version! Considering The Sims 3 World Adventures is coming out early next month, EA mobile updated the game with the ability to import and export your Sims so you can use them for the next game in the lineup. Not only that, but they also added 3 new mini-packs: Gothic Wear It set, Gothic Live It set and the Prank Pack.
The Gothic Wear It set comes with buckles, makeup, hair, leather and more and the Live It set comes with 6 items for your home. The Prank set seems like it was made specifically for me, giving sims an electric buzzer for handshakes and the option to fart on command. Now that would be something to enjoy for real life

The only good thing about St. Patricks Day is the fact that you can drink yourself silly and probably get away with it (although I don’t drink, so I have no clue what really goes on to be honest). To get you in the spirit, The Sims Team has released a few signatures to use at the official Sims 3 forums. I love the freezer bunny
