Know your Mobile – Spore Creatures review

Another review from a game…that hardly anybody knows that is released – Spore Creatures for mobile:

Throughout the game, you’re generally doing much the same thing – running around trying to avoid obstacles that’ll hurt you while munching away at anything that looks small enough. Doing this is admittedly quite fun, but the further you get into the game, the more it reveals itself to be shallower than it appears at first.

Still, Spore Creatures remains fun even if the evolution of your character isn’t quite as dramatic as you might hope for.

PocketGamer – Spore Creatures mobile (Sony Ericsson K800i) reviewed

I hate the fact that for regular mobile phones, EA tends to just shove the game out there without any notice or warning what-so-ever.  It also doesn’t help when the game shares the same name as it’s DS counterpart; it makes it very difficult to track any information down…

If you happen to own a Sony Ericsson K800i phone (it may work on other models, but for the article this phone was used) and lived in Europe (again, based off of the article) then you should now be able to purchase Spore Creatures for your device.  PocketGamer has published their review on the game, giving it a high score of 8 as well as sharing new screens:

You’re on land now, and looking around this strange new world of rocks, plants, animals and fire constitutes much of the journey toward continued evolution. Exploration is a big part of Spore Creatures, even though it still places a strong emphasis on the inherent DNA gathering of the original mobile game.

Each area must be carefully investigated, with a certain number of plants and lesser animals eaten in order to strengthen your evolutionary resources.
