Spore takes home the crown for the week of September 7th – 13th. The $49 version of Spore takes the #1 spot while the $80 Galactic Edition is fast behind it at #2. Will they hold up for next week’s NPD results from all of the DRM talk? Only time will tell. Until then, enjoy your spots, Spore!

Spore Expansion already in the works…

I told you so – you could of guessed it yourself! Shacknews reported that a Spore expansion pack is already in the works according to a slide from a presentation at the GDC. No details were announced, but if you follow the current pattern of expansions, it’ll be released 6 months after Spore. So it is safe to say probably around March or April of 2009 it will hit stores.
