Ugh! Fruitcake…horrible. Want a shot at winning more Spore goodies? This week you can enter the Spore Holiday Mystery Giveaway #2 and create your very own fruitcake! Sorry but I’m sitting this one out. Good luck to those who enter!
Maxis is hosting a second Holiday Mystery Giveaway! If you weren’t one of the lucky thirteen in the first one, you still have a chance to receive a gift from Maxis just by making a little holiday fruitcake.
Just whip up a fruitcake in any editor you choose (other than the adventure creator) and publish it with the tag mcfruitcake. Post a pic of your delectable treat (or stale paper-weight of a pastry) and you’ll have a chance to be one of the ten randomly chosen lucky players to receive a holiday gift back from Maxis.
How to Post:

Well drat. Figured I’d have a good chance at winning this contest as for the most part, there aren’t that many entries when it comes to Spore contests…but considering this was an actual giveaway I understand why many entered. MaxisCactus posted the lucky 13 winners who won the Spore Holiday Giveaway. Three players will each receive a copy of Spore Creature Creator signed by Will Wright, a Spore bumper sticker and a set of creature part magnets and the remaining 10 receive a copy of the Spore Cute & Creepy Parts Pack (cause you know their offices are loaded with them.
I’m fortunate enough to already own a signed copy of the Creature Creator but I wouldn’t mind displaying the Spore bumper sticker on my car, as well as the magnets on the fridge! And besides regardless of who won, my little guy below kicks all kinds of ass 
rate up, cause you know you want to :P

Nothing much has changed regarding The Sim’s status from this week and the previous week other than both The Sims 3 & World Adventures swapped places. At least they are still holding on strong, trying to stick by Football Manager and Modern Warfare 2!

Spore Creatures for Windows Mobile now available at Handango

The sequel to Spore Origins, ‘Spore Creatures‘ is now released for Windows Mobile phones. The problem is, it’s not on the Windows Marketplace for Mobile (Windows official Mobile App Store). Instead it is being sold on Handango for $7.95. But this does prove that the game should soon appear at the official app store…just a matter of when.

Come feast on my Creature Creator and gooey nougat center.” Like that cursed temptress, Spore Heroes Arena will only pull your ship to a rocky doom. Save yourself, dear readers! Heed my tale of woe, ignore the Siren’s song, and move on to better games.

EA Stocking Stuffers 09′ – Games for $15 and under

EA is having a sale for the holidays in which you can grab many of their games for $15 or less. There is a catch – most are PC games in which you’ll only be able to get them via digital download. Luckily there are a few DS Sim-related games on the list in which I plan to take advantage of! If you’re interested in stuffing your Christmas Stockings, head on over to the EA Store to see what they have. Sale ends Dec. 13!

Remember this gem below? So The Sims 3 World Adventures had a full week in the UK to shine, and the sales data is now in. Looks as if once again, the 1st expansion is beaten by both Football Manager 2010 and Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2. It could be the fact that those are two great games…but I am wondering if the price played a role with how well the expansion performs. I wonder what the US results look like…
