EA Stocking Stuffers 09′ – Games for $15 and under

EA is having a sale for the holidays in which you can grab many of their games for $15 or less. There is a catch – most are PC games in which you’ll only be able to get them via digital download. Luckily there are a few DS Sim-related games on the list in which I plan to take advantage of! If you’re interested in stuffing your Christmas Stockings, head on over to the EA Store to see what they have. Sale ends Dec. 13!
The Sims 2 Fun with Pets – back cover

I love these compilation CD’s. After I installed Windows 7 I used Double Deluxe, Sims 2 University Collection and Sims 2 Best of Business. I tell you – 3 CD’s instead of…9 or 10 makes a whole lot of difference. I’m eagerly waiting to pick up Fun with Pets when it releases in January!

UK: Top 20 PC Games Chart ending October 31, 2009

Two new games bumped The Sims 3 out of it’s number one spot. Will The Sims 3 be able to take back it’s position before World Adventure drops or will these two new games stay at the top until the first expansion hits. Either way, they better enjoy their time – they don’t have long!
Nice to see Spore and Sims 2 rise up once more

Looks as if The Sims 3 is taking back it’s number 1 spot this week! How long until it is dethroned again will remain unknown…However Christmas is right around the corner – I wouldn’t expect to see it bumped back down anytime soon. Wish Spore would move back up though.

Thanks to InfiniteSims for bringing this to my attention…I can’t believe enough copies were sold for ‘The Sims 2 University Life Collection’ to take up the #20 spot. I wonder how many were sold total. I know I bought one. Anyone else here got their copy?

Looks like we will be getting The Sims 2 Pets, The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff and The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff with this collection. The date is also set, coming to stores on January 12, 2010!

Finally, EA…Thank you! Took some time, but at least you haven’t forgot about your compilation game, The Sims 2 Best of Business. Try not to let any more games slip “under the radar” again, that was just…well sad.
The Sims 2 Best of Business Collection now available!

Yesterday was the release of The Sims 2 Best of Business Collection, a combination pack consisting of The Sims 2 Open for Business Expansion Pack, The Sims 2 H&M® Fashion Stuff, and The Sims 2 Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff. Problem was…there was no official announcement nor any listing for the game anywhere except for GameStop.
I was a bit weary of posting about it until I had some way to confirm it was actually released. I went ahead and ordered it last night from the company (because I’m a collector and have to have everything EA/Maxis related :P). No shipping confirmation as of yet which had me worried…until I read an announcement from TheSims2 on Twitter stating it really is released and can now be obtained from the EA Store.
Look for it in various retail stores this week!
