(PC) Double Deluxe

NPD PC Chart for the week ending on July 20, 2008: Nancy Drew tops the charts again

Man, the Nancy Drew game is a beast, it’s doing quite well taking the #1 spot again for the second week in a row.  The next couple of games are those from Maxis.  We have The Sims 2 Double Deluxe coming in #2 as well as The Sims 2 Ikea Home Stuff in #3.  Shockingly, Spore Creature Creator comes in at #5.  I’d figure it would be higher since it is only $10.

2. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe
3. The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff Expansion
4. World of Warcraft: Battle Chest
5. Spore Creature Creator

NPD PC Chart for the week ending on July 12, 2008: Nancy Drew tops Maxis’ games?!?!

I don’t understand…Maxis has been dominating the NPD charts for ages with their games…sure, there are some other games that become #1 for a brief moment…but a Nancy Drew game?  That’s unheard of!  Maybe there was a miscount…or perhaps the company that produced the game bought a ton of copies for themselves…yeah…that’s it.

1. Nancy Drew: The Phantom Of Venice
2. Spore Creature Creator
3. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe
4. Diablo Battle Chest
5. The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff
6. WoW: Battle Chest
7. World Of Warcraft
8. The Sims 2 Freetime
9. WoW: The Burning Crusade
10. Call of Duty 4
