The PC Sims Games Chronological Order?

One of our readers (DuneGamer) have come up with an interesting theory on the timeline of each Sims town.
Sweet Treats Concept Art – Cupcake Chair

I really wish they’d announce the next one or two Expansions at E3 in a few weeks. I’m getting sick of these two Stuff Packs.

Interesting Info Found in Game Code

What’s this? More proof that interactions/stuff from one game was removed and put into another? Sweet! Gotta love those who dig through Sims 3 code to find all kinds of goodies.

I was digging thought the gameplay files, and apparently (news to me) Sims can (or were supposed to) sunbathe in Generations.

PlatinumSimmers interview SimGuruGraham
May 18th
@swwSims Thanks, I meant to watch this awhile ago and completely forgot
It’s accurate in many ways, but I do disagree with a few points. One thing they nailed is that production is different at every studio… I’ve heard this especially in relation to EA, where we’re less schedule focused and more closely tied to the design side.
He said producers would balk at the idea of not being emotionally invested in the product, and he was rightI’m absolutely emotionally invested; I care a *great* deal about the quality of games we put out. I think the point he was trying to make was right, it was just worded poorly… you can still be emotionally attached while recognizing the need to make the right decisions to keep a project on budget and within scope.
He talks a lot about production being a connection between other disciplines, and being the person that enables other developers to have the right info to do their jobs efficiently, and that’s totally correct.
The other aspect that’s just as important to me though is being an advocate for our consumer, and making sure that the game we release as a whole is held to a certain quality standard, in addition to being on time and on budget. That might very well mean cutting a feature we all really love because we know we can’t deliver it in the way that we should.
Sweet Treats Cookie Trashcan Concept Art
May 18th
Yes, concept art of a trashcan. It looks like three Oreo cookies stacked on top of eachother.

MMMMM Now I’m hungry for “junk food”. Get it? This looks like something you’d see in the break room of Wonka’s factory, or maybe outside somewhere. I would get this in real life if it was real.

SimCookie and Sweet Treats
May 17th
Had enough Sweet Treats Q&A’s yet? No? Ok, here’s another one via SimCookie. Nom! Nom! Nom!
More than thirty objects are included in this pack, the famous fountain with the freezer bunny, new items for children such as swings and slides with gingerbread spice on it! Just to think I taste in the mouth do not you? Haha! Sandbox and the cabin were added too! For those who have not generations, it will have the chance to have a small portion of objects that are proposed in this addon. A new object for the fireworks with new weapon was added, you can find it in the buy mode. For those who expect to have the newest objects of the blind, I speak of course of the fryer and the ice machine, it will not be included in it because it is an object that is reserved only to the blind.
SimFans – Sweet Treats Q&A
May 17th
If you’re excited about Sweet Treats, check out the following Q&A by SimFans.
Daniel, SimFans.de: The Sims 3 Katy Perry-sweet world “Mega Stuff Pack” mentioned. We have noticed that in this pack are more objects than normally found in The Sims 3 Stuff Packs. How many are there exactly?
Jennifer Lane, EA Exactly, I can not tell you. Yes, there are some more. I would estimate about 15% more than usual and there are many more outfits than any new stuff pack so far!
Daniel, SimFans.de: Justify 15% more content to the price of 30 € in Germany? Stuff Packs have always been here 15 to 20 € expensive.
Jennifer Lane, EA With the prices we have to do anything from the developer team. This is also different from country to country, and prices also depend on several factors, besides the number of objects.
Platinum Simmers – Sweet Treats Q&A
May 17th
It’s another Sweet Treats Q&A, this time by Platnium Simmers.
Sww (Platinum Simmers): There are lots of crazy items in all the screenshots we’ve been seeing, are there any items that fit more into a normal house?
Jennifer Lane: There absolutely are, there are a lot of things that we have been showing where it has been a candy explosion and you can absolutely do that. What I have been doing is picking out pieces here and there and putting them in my home. Some of them will stand out more than others, but the ones I want to stand out I have been doing that on purpose, there are a lot of accents in
