First details/pics on “The Sims 3″ for iPhone

Apple is currently holding their iPhone OS 3.0 conference, describing new features that comes with the phones. I’ve been keeping an eye on a liveblog, and just got tipped the following information on EA and The Sims 3.
The Sims 3 will use the iPhone 3.0 features. In it going to use the In-App program in which you can buy items for your sims from the App store for $.99 (boooo). An awesome feature for the game is that the stereos/radios in the game will play the music from your ipod/iphone library!
Thanks to Gizmodo for the pics!
Spore Origins press release; SimCity and The Sims 3 to come to iPhone
Sep 4th
In a new press release today, EA has listed nine iPhone games that are currently in the development process. While many of them were known, 2 came across as a nice surprise: SimCity and The Sims 3. Now, I know that the Sims 3 will have to be built from the ground up – I just don’t know what they plan to do. Probably use a chunk of the PC game like they did with Spore. As for SimCity, I wonder if they plan to use the original SimCity, the SimCity DS version, or a whole new SimCity game. Since I love the original, I hope it is the first choice…with real life graphics (Google Maps). That’s be sweet.
EA’S SPORE ORIGINS OOZES ONTO THE IPHONE

(NASDAQ:ERTS), today announced that Spore™ Origins, an original game for the iPhone™ and iPod™ touch, will be available later this month. The game takes full advantage of the devices’ built-in accelerometer as players tilt, turn and twist their way through a world made of primordial ooze. In conjunction with the launch of Spore Origins, EA Mobile also announces a list of nine games in development for both the iPhone and iPod Touch platforms.
