(iPhone) World Adventures

Excellent find, BricaSims for the fact that you found 3 new images from The Sims 3 World Adventures for iPhone on the EA UK website.  Look for the game to hit sometime early next month on the App store.

Date of Departure: The Sims 3: World Adventures out January 18

EA Mobile hasn’t said a word regarding a firm release date for The Sims 3: World Adventures on iPhone, but we’ve heard that it’s queued up for release Monday.

It make sense to us – the PC version of the expansion pack has been out for two months. The original announcement made by parent company EA slated the standalone iPhone version for a January release.

Guess what? It’s January and we’re keen on seeing World Adventures released.

Of course, this comes from an article published by PocketGamer in which they speak of various rumors in the media, so there is no telling if this is to be true.  With only 3 screens released to the public and 3 days to go, you’d figure EA Mobile would advertise it more if this was the case.  But then again, stranger things have happened…lets wait until Monday or Tuesday to see if this is true or not.

Nice find, InfiniteSims!  Slide2Play has the first screens for the iPhone version of The Sims 3 World Adventures.  Much like it’s PC counterpart, your Sims can travel to Egypt, China and France and will feature 53 new goals, four new minigames, and new personas, quests, and careers.  Not only that but you’ll be able to transfer your Sim from your original iPhone game to this one!  As for a date, it’s not known at this time but expected sometime in the Spring/Summer.
