BOYCOTT THE SIMS 3
An event has been organised for those among us who dislike the direction EA are taking The Sims franchise. Such as the bugs, decreasing content, goal gameplay, fast release schedule, the store etc. This begins on the 18th February.
Electronic Arts are simply taking more and more of our money, and failing to live up to the standards of previous Sims games with The Sims 3. The overpriced store being forced down our throat, poor expansions with little content and goal orientated gameplay being added, poor stuff packs, social features which we don’t want, and Electronic Arts not listening and simply rushing the game out of the door.
The players, whom purchase the game, want this game fixed and improved. We want you to listen to us, Electronic Arts, since you’re just taking our money and you’re providing a product declining in quality, in comparison with The Sims and The Sims 2 era.
The boycott involves:
- Completely boycott The Sims 3. Have nothing to do with it. Don’t purchase any Sims 3 games, or content. Don’t play the game. If you wish to play The Sims, play The Sims 2 or The Sims.
- Contact EA. Post on The Sims 3 Facebook pages, their twitter, youtube, the official forums, and email them. We need to get our presence known.
This shall last until EA listen to us, commencing the 18th February 2012.

The Sims 3 Veterinary Career!

Steam are selling The Sims 3 franchise super cheap today, the base game being only £10.20! So if you want to get into the franchise, be sure to get it while you can – also all the expansion and stuff packs have been reduced 66% making them super cheap.

Hey, there. Since Jud uploaded his self-Sim quite some time ago, I thought I’d finally upload mine to the official site. I’m a bit late with this, but, oh well. It was not easy to create myself. I used an EA Sim from the pre-made bin as a base and then took it from there. Love him, torture him, whatever… he’s in your hands now. Mwah-ha-ha-ha!

Exclusive Free Birthday Set from EA

Since today’s my birthday, I received an email from EA about an exclusive free birthday set via the official site by a redeemable code. It was okay, but nothing too special. I like the funky-colored flowers in a vase. I could always use more flowers. There’s also a birthday-themed teddy bear to play with and some balloons in pots, or whatever those bottom objects are. There isn’t much in the set, to be honest. I am not sure if this is new, to coincide with today’s “Generations” U.S. release, or if some of you have received it before. Either way, I thought I’d post it.
Latest Patch Removed

**UPDATE: You can download the patch from SimsSlovenia, who uploaded it earlier. And according to SimsSlovenia the patch has no immediate problems/bugs with it installed—however, download this at your own risk**
Just a quick note to let you know that EA have noticed people have got the latest patch, and they have removed all the files from their servers.
So, unless someone uploads it to a file sharing service, you can not update yet unless you have the game! We’ll keep you updated.
