It’s time for The Sims 3 to release new sets at their Store for those who happen to use it. Have to say, my favorite from this bunch is the Game Time Set. The Strike Em’ Out Glove chair is pretty sweet. Oh, and props to EA for releasing 18 new shirts for free (even though they are pretty much the same style)! Thanks to SimFans for the tip!
6/3/10 – The Sims 3 Store slashes down prices from the Ultra Lounge Set

Want to score some objects from The Sims 3 Store at prices that they should be sold at to begin with? Well, hit the Store and check out the Ultra Lounge Outdoor, Living, Dining and Bedroom Sets as they’ve been marked down to 300 points each. The Living Room Set especially as it contains 17 items!

Lucky Duckie Jr.

From the latest email by EA (newsletter), EA released the child version of the Lucky Duckie that recently was released for adults, only that it’s available via Shop Mode (through your game). My guess is that they figured that more people would prefer this item on children rather than adults, and what better way than to make it available via Shop Mode? Either way, I thought it was newsworthy for those of you who actually prefer the item on children (like myself). Oh, and it’s a T-shirt with the lifesaver wrapped around the waist in the Everyday and Swim categories (I forgot to check the other categories). I was hoping that it was an accessory. Oh well. I took a couple of screen shots. Enjoy!

An funny yet embarrassing story…I was a hefty child so I probably shouldn’t have but I squeezed myself into one of these when I went swimming once. Unfortunately, I couldn’t manage to squeeze myself out and it ended up having to be cut off of me.
Yeah, and I wondered why the other kids called me fat-a$$…

MissingStudios pointed out the fact that you can now buy SimPoints via your mobile phone. It applies for those who are Dutch/German…not sure what other countries this applies too.

Upcoming ‘Sims 3 Hairstyles’ for May 2010 update on The Sims 3 Store

The Sims 3 is currently showing off a few sneak peaks of a few hairstyles coming to The Sims 3 Store in May 2010. Wish instead they’d focus more on the expansion rather than their store, but I suppose something is better than nothing. I’ll keep adding to this post when more pictures are made available.

Did you manage to grab the ECO Pack that was up on The Sims 3 website the other day? If you haven’t, don’t worry – it’ll be back soon as it looks as if it was released prematurely (those wanting now should check out the comments in the EVP post for alternate links). Both Sims 3 Nieuws and Sims.miXei.ru grabbed a few screens from the pack. You may not be able to understand the descriptions, but it’ll give you a clear idea on what you’ll get when you download them.
