PocketGamer – The Sims Medieval for Mobile reviewed

Controlling your sim is as easy as tapping the screen to walk to a location or to interact with an object, whilst dragging the screen will move the camera around, enabling you to search out your next objective.
Spotting objectives can be a mild hindrance to progress at times, as certain NPCs will move between the set navigable areas of the game, meaning you may have to hunt them down.
The isometric view in The Sims Medieval works well and the locations and characters are sufficiently colourful in what is definitely a tongue-in-cheek game. For instance, we very much doubt that people from the dark ages were as playful or as jocular about ticking off quest requirements.
7/10 rating for The Sims Medieval on standard mobile platforms. Not too shabby, I suppose

The Sims Medieval for iPhone Review by Sunset Valley Times
Oct 29th
I know some of you are tired of all the Pets reviews, so here’s something different. A review of Medieval for iPhone by Sunset Valley Times!
After the tutorial, you are immediately thrown into your first quest. A visitor (Tariq the Brave) comes along in your house, to tell that something is going on in town. Someone steal chickens run. And guess what, you’re the chosen person to see who did it (you probably saw that coming?).
So the first thing you’ll do is talk to one of the townspeople. She knows more of the thief. They will not just tell you alone until you’re friends with her. Would you just give important information to anyone? Exactly. So just nice talk with her about everything. Then you convince D’r it is best to just talk.

Slide 2 Play – The Sims Medieval for iPhone reviewed

The Sims Medieval is an iOS adaptation of the very same PC game that lets you build a Sim’s life around the romantic era of knights and dragons. Your Sim will walk, talk, and work in a fairytale-like world of simple wooden houses, cauldrons, guilds, combat, and noble quests. Fortunately, the less desirable traits of the medieval period, like outhouses, plague rats, sickness, and rampant superstition, are tucked out of the way. In fact, unlike most Sims games, you’re not asked to keep on top of your Sim’s hygiene and toilet habits. Why bother? It can be assumed that, given the time period, everyone stinks like a dying pig anyhow.
