I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Will Wright wouldn't have jumped off of this sinking ship prematurely if he knew it still had potential and EA was going the right direction with his beautiful conception. A good portion of the people who pirated this game noted that they had already pre-ordered it, and more often than not, the deluxe version. I think people have a right to know if their money is being spent well and at the same time I think that it creates a perfectly acceptable backfire towards the developers who promised certain things and kept pushing the release date back in order to fulfill those promises.
