These patches should work if you have The Sims Hot Date for the PC. To download the files, you may either click the ‘Download Here’ button to start the process or you may be directed to a specific site where you can download it from there. The Sims Hot Date Game Patch

This new and improved version of the Hot Date patch should fix the following issues:

• A Bay Window will now appear in the game.
• The Old Prude will now appear on all the lots.
• Cuddling no longer gets stuck.
• No longer get stuck in the dining booth.
• Items and Actions were dropping out of the Sims queue, it’s now fixed.
• The clothing rack was experiencing a few random crashes, it’s now fixed.
• The Food carts no longer advertise highly which blocked Sims from eating.

Buy/Build Mode Enablers For All Away-From-Home Lots

Not a buyable object, and this is not in any official Patch:

These upgrades will allow you to access the Buy/Build Mode while playing your Sims Downtown, on Vacation Island, in Old Town, in Studiotown or in Magictown.

You should only use Buy/Build mode enablers that are made for the newest (i.e. most recently marketed) expansion pack that you have.

Hot Date Trees Upgrade

This is not in the official Hot Date Patch:

Click the pic above to download this 1.63mb file. Now you will be able to place the Hot Date trees almost anywhere you want! Inside, outside, through a wall, on the water, in the pool, on a floor tile, on a slope, inside an object or another tree – even in the air! This affects a total of nine Hot Date trees: Seven four-tile trees, and two one-tile trees.

Just put this “TreesHD.iff” file in your “ExpansionPack3″ folder, and have fun. See the enclosed “readme” file for more information.

Hot Dog & Ice Cream Upgrade

Not a buyable object, and this is not in any official Patch:

This will give the ice cream from the ice cream cart a hunger increase three times the original, and will also give the hot dog (in all three carts it appears in) a hunger increase of almost four times – bringing them both up to an acceptable level. Just place “IceCream.iff” file in your ExpansionShared folder.

McDonald’s Kiosk Fix/Upgrade

Now your sims won’t have to eat twenty Big Macs the size of their heads to fill them up! It will increase hunger to reasonable levels and reduce the oversized food items to a more believable size. (The pictures you see here are the actual size in the game).

Just place the “McDFood.iff” in your McFoodCart folder (under Downloads) and all the other files (the .bcf’s and .skn’s) in your Skins folder.

Pizza and Burger Upgrade

“Cheap Eats” Counter Upgrade: This will give the pizza and burgers from the cheap eats counter a hunger value 2 1/2 times the original, bringing them up to an acceptable level. It will also solve the problem of burger plates not being empty when finished. Just unzip and place the “FoodHD.iff” file in your “ExpansionShared” folder and you’re all set.
