These patches should work if you have The Sims Unleashed for the PC. To download the files, you may either click the ‘Download Here’ button to start the process or you may be directed to a specific site where you can download it from there. You can also view a larger picture of the patch by clicking on the thumbnail image provided.

The Sims Unleashed Game Patch

The Unleashed patch will fix the following issues:

• Floods no longer spread under objects.
• Sims will retain the pajamas or swimsuit they purchased Downtown or on Vacation.
• Sitting to watch TV – Adult and child Sims sit to watch TV.
• Fixed 180° spins at the end of routes.
• Fixed Memory leaks and improved longer-term gameplay performance.

Web Template display fixes:

• Sims of both species now display proper gender in web pages
• “Human” Sims no longer display pet statistics in the “Stats” page
• Web pages now launching in the neighborhood screen

Important notes:

There are still known issues with incorrect skill statistics being displayed for human Sims in the web templates (though files still function properly within the game) in all languages. This is not fixed or fixable in this patch.

Additionally, several foreign languages contain missing strings in the web templates (they will display “needs translation” in those instances). The patch cannot fix these remaining bugs (which do not impact gameplay, merely the web templates displayed).

Buy/Build Mode Enablers For All Away-From-Home Lots

These upgrades will allow you to access the Buy/Build Mode while playing your Sims Downtown, on Vacation Island, in Old Town, in Studiotown or in Magictown.

You should only use Buy/Build mode enablers that are made for the newest (i.e. most recently marketed) expansion pack that you have.

Unleashed Flood Fix

In Unleashed, floods can run under objects and can’t be mopped up without pausing the game and moving the objects around. This “flood.iff” file will fix that problem, easily and safely. Just drop it into your Objects folder and that’s it.

Unleashed “Male Spinning” Fix

This fix is to eliminate most of the spinning that male sims do prior to doing anything, also known as the “Hokey Pokey” If you want the females to stop the spinning too, please download the Visitor’s Skills / Gorilla Walk Fix.

Unleashed “No Actions Available” Fix

For those who have this problem: Just place DaveH’s avatar on a wall and have the affected sim view it, and it will cure him/her of the dreaded ‘There are no actions available’ message you can get when you try to have another sim interact with them.

Unleashed Pastry/Espresso Upgrade

Not a buyable object, and this is not in the official Unleashed Patch:

This file controls the pastry and also the espresso from the pastry and espresso carts in Unleashed. With this upgrade, drinking the espresso will max out your Energy level (instead of the tiny little sliver of Energy like it originally gives) and eating the pastry will give a Hunger of about 4 instead of 1 (after all, it is only a pastry) Just pop the “Pastry.iff” file in your “ExpansionPack5″ folder and you’re ready to go!

Unleashed Trees Upgrade

This is not in the official Unleashed Patch:

This will allow you to place the new 9-tile Willow and Sycamore trees almost anywhere you want! Inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs, through the wall, on the water, in the pool, on a floor tile, on a slope, in the air – even in the middle of another object!

You can also plant flowers underneath them, or place more than one tree in the same spot. (There’s a house in the pic above – can you see it?)

Just put this “TreesUnleashed.iff” file in your “ExpansionPack5″ folder, and have fun. See the enclosed “readme” file for more information.

Unleashed Vegetable Cart Upgrade

This is not in the official Unleashed Patch:

Now you can have a choice to “buy 10″, “buy 20″, “buy 40″ or even “buy 80″ of your favorite vegetables, in addition to the original one or five! You can now also place the vegetable cart Downtown, so you won’t need to drag out the whole family just to buy vegetables. Gardener Bob will be there as well. You can also place it on a Vacation or Studio Town lot if you want
(but not at home).

Just unzip and put this “CartUnleashed.iff” file in your “ExpansionPack5″ folder, and have fun. NOTE: The older version of this upgrade also works with Superstar. If you have that, and would like this new one, just delete the old one from your game and replace it with this one. See enclosed “readme” file for more details.

Shrimp Cart Upgrade

This will give the shrimp from the Shrimp Cart a hunger value three times the original, bringing it up to a hunger of 2. (It’s still just a snack). Just unzip and place the “shrimp.iff” file in your “Downloads/ShrimpCart” folder and you’re all set.

Visitor Skills/Join Activity/Gorilla Walk Fix!

Not a buyable object, and this is not in any official Patch:

Gorilla Walk: This problem hasn’t been officially fixed since Unleashed came out. This unofficial patch solves the problem of women walking like gorillas (if that bothers you). You can also get the Visitor Skills and Join Activity upgrades without the Gorilla Walk Fix if you want (separate download).

Visitor Skills: It will also allow Sims to use visitor-enabled skill-building objects on any away-from-home lots. Visitors to your home also can earn skills just as your Sims do… and visiting Sims will be able to use skill objects even if their moods are too low.

Join Activity: This will also allow visitors to join you in group activities without needing to greet them first. Also, NPCs can join you as well! (There are some exceptions to this – please see the “readme” or details).
