Your dog ate your jewel case? Here’s the solution.

The KILLERSIMS CD Key Retriever software scans your computer for the CD Key information from the back of the jewel cases of the EA MAXIS Game The Sims and the expansion packs. This is not a hacking tool and only scans your local machine for information that has been entered by you when you installed the game. The keys displayed in the sample image are fake and for demonstration purposes only.

You can get this program at Killersims by going to the “9th Floor” and selecting the “Software” section on the menu. If that doesn’t appear, then select the green “Go” button and it will take you to Killersims Classic Center, where you can find it on the “9th Floor” and selecting the “Software” section.

Ever dreamt to have a money machine in your house? Close your eyes, clap your shoes and say… Rosebud. Cheatz! the new KILLERSIMS Software makes Sims life eazier. A hole in the wall on your fingertips. With every click on F8 during gameplay you will be 1000$ richer.

This software makes it possible to use selected cheatcodes during game play by using the function keys on your keyboard. Your Sims are running out of money? Just press F8 and you will be 1000$ richer. Not enough? Press the key again. Your Sims will enjoy that hole in the wall on a fingertip.

After starting Cheatz! the software will assign several common default cheatcodes to your function keys (F-keys) F6 – F11. You will be immediately ready to use them and they will be active as long as Cheatz! is running. It doesn’t matter if you start Cheatz! before you launch the Sims or during gameplay, you will be immediately able to use them. By moving your mouse over the highlighted buttons in the Cheatz! you will see which cheatcode goes with which button. Just click the F-key on your keyboard to activate the cheatcode. By clicking the button in Cheatz! you will get a little dialog box popping up telling you the cheatcode assigned to this key. Just edit the field with another valid cheatcode and close the popup box. The changes will be active immediately. You will see a checkmark on a ENTER button. Leave this if you want to get the cheatcode executed immediately after you press the related F-key or uncheck it if you want to see the cheat box during the game to manually add more information. One eay to use it would be assign the cheatcode MOVE_OBJECTS ON to one of the keys and MOVE_OBJECTS OFF to another key and checkmark ENTER in both cases. Everytime you would press these keys the cheatcodes would be executed. If you prefer to only have one F-key you may enter MOVE_OBJECTS and UNcheck ENTER. Everytime you press the F-key during the game now, it will open the cheatbox with the words MOVE_OBJECTS in it and you can manually enter ON or OFF as you like. By default the F11 key has been assigned with an empty cheatcode and ENTER disabled (unchecked). The behavior in the game would be: Everytime you press F11 it will open the cheatbox, the same as using CTRL-SHIFT-C but much easier

For use with TSO, Cheatz! can be setup to show a AFK (away from keyboard) or any other message everytime you click a function key. To do that, just type in AFK in the Cheatz! editor for one of the F-keys and checkmark ENTER. A very useful feature that only works with Cheatz! is showing the Real Life time in TSO since we know a lot of TSO players would like to know what time it is during TSO play. When you assign the Cheatz! only cheatcode RL_TIME to one of the F-keys your Sim will tell you (and the whole world) the local time showing up in the speech bubble every time you press that F-key.

NOTE: Cheatz will run in the backfround of your game. You will have to use the function keys on your keyboard during gameplay.

Dial-A-Cab

This program that I created counts your downloaded Floors, Walls, Objects, Skins and Roofs. It shows you the file path and counts files in subfolders and it also tells you the total kilobytes and megabytes. It’s useful if you want to brag about how many objects, floors, and walls you downloaded.

EliSims is a awesome program which lets you view and delete skins, objects, heads, walls, floors, and much more. It even has a neighborhood editor so you can add/delete neighborhoods. Also, it has options like getting rid of the movie when you start the sims game and make your game run in a window.

EliSims requires Windows 95 or later to run. EliSims 2.2 can read Character information from Hot date and newer expansion packs.

Jukebox DJ

The KILLERSIMS Jukebox DJ is probably the easiest and most comfortable tool to manage The Sims Radio Stations and add your own MP3 Files to any station you want based on a Windows Media Player Playlist (WinAmp supported in a later version). During gameplay your Sims will be able to select or switch to a radio station on their jukebox or stereos and listen to YOUR songs. No enormous diskspace needed to get the MP3 files into your game, the KILLERSIMS Jukebox DJ only needs 1 KByte per added song.

Limitations:

The current version of KILLERSIMS Jukebox DJ only works with playlists that are saved on harddisk drive C:. If your playlist is on another harddisk drive, do NOT just copy it to drive C: but do a SAVE PLAYLIST AS… out of Windows Media Player to any location on drive C:
Currently only Windows Media Player playlists are supported. We will enhance this to WinAmp in a later version.

Instructions:

After launching the Jukebox DJ the screen will show the Tab Playlist. Click the Load Playlist button and browse to your Windows Media Player playlist to load it. All songs of your playlist will be displayed now. To add any somg you want to any station category, select a station by clicking the radiobutton and then click the song you want to add to the station. That’s it! By clicking the Tabs the Jukebox DJ will display the files that are currently available for the selected radio station. Highlighted songs are either original songs or songs you have added manually or using another software. The Jukebox DJ will not touch them.

Tips:

If you want to remove manually added songs and want to have the Jukebox DJ manage your radio stations, do this manually first using Windows explorer. If these are copies you have somewhere in another folder, you may be able to clean up a lot of disk space. Make sure the location of the original song is in your playlist and not the one that you just deleted.

Sample:

Say you have a song called ‘Punky_Rocksong.mp3′ on your harddisk and you want to add it to one of The Sims radio stations. This song may be 5 MBytes in size and just copying it to the station will need another 5 MBytes of your harddisk space. You may want to delete the original song and only listen to the one saved in your Radio station now but you would end up soon having MP3 files all over your harddisk. So just keep the song in the folder where you save all your MP3 files and launch the KILLERSIMS Jukebox DJ to save you 5 MB of wasted harddisk space.
If you haven’t added the song to a Playlist yet, please do so using Windows Media Player. You don’tnecessarily have to use your favorite playlist. You can simply create a temporary one. KILLERSIMS Jukebox DJ does NOT need the playlist anymore after importing the songs to your Sims game. Ok you created a playlist called coolsongsplaylist.wpl and it’s saved under C:\Playlists or under C:\Documents and Settings\Jerry\My Documents\My Music\My Playlists\ the default folder for playlists. Where you saved the playlist is up to you but it has to be on harddisk drive c: In Jukebox DJ click on LOAD PLAYLIST and browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Jerry\My Documents\My Music\My Playlists\ you should see your playlist coolsongsplaylist.wpl listed there now. Select it and open it. All songs saved in this playlist will be displayed now. You should also see the ‘Punky_Rocksong.mp3′ over there. Well let’s get it into the game. Click the radiobutton ‘Rock’ since you want to add the song to the Rock radio station and then click ‘Punky_Rocksong.mp3′ in the list. If you click on the Tab ‘Rock’ now you will see ‘Punky_Rocksong.mp3′ listed there. After starting the game and having your Sims switching to Rock you will hear your song. If you want to copy every song in the Rock radiostation to the Beach radiostation. Just select the Tab Rock to see all your songs listed there and click the radiobutton Beach before clicking on each song you want to move. If you want to delete one or two songs there just select the radiobutton Trashcan before clicking the song. This does NOT delete the song on your harddisk, it will only remove it from the radiostation.

Tool to improve the loading performance of The Sims. Especially under Windows XP the startup of the game can take up to 45 minutes, dependent on the number of objects and user downloads. Changing the attributes of the files to read only does increase the startup immense. Users reported that the speed has been increased from more than half an hour to a couple of minutes. The KILLERSIMS ReadOnly software detects your downloads and changes the attributes to read only access.

After launching the program and clicking the LIST button, all relevant files will be displayed. The program will show you the name of the file, the folder location as well as the attribute R with a yellow background if the file is already read online or a white background if the file has read write access (not read only). By clicking the READ ONLY .IFF button the program will change all .IFF files to read only access. Push the LIST button again to see the result. You should see a better loading performance now when starting your game.

Rescue the Sims after a crash. By making copies of the folder’s content before and after, you can restore the game back to it’s running state and saves you from re-installing the game, especially all those expansion packs. When importing families from the exchange, skins are added to the skin folder but you don’t know which are those files. Also, some installers install skin packs and again, you don’t know the files added. The same goes for other files such as objects.

8DS Members Only! SimLinks is a small utility that helps you manage your favorite sim sites. The purpose of SimLinks is to clean your favorites menu if you have way too many sites stored in it. Please note that this program will not read your favorites that you have stored. Instead, you simply add them into this program and it’ll remember the sites for you. SiMP3 Player

SiMP3 Player will let you import MP3′s into The Sims with ease! It will open them up and play them inside the program. You will then have the choices to import them into the game by a click of the button. And what’s best is that you can import as many as you want and to wherever you want. Then, the next time you boot up the game, depending on where you imported the music to, it will play in the game! Works with all expansions!

Simsky is a simple graphic program, designed for creation of high-quality pictures from The Sims and other tools associated with the game. Simsky gets the best results when editing pictures of your favorite Sims that were created in the program Simpose.

Simsky is able to view the photo album from the Sims and to crop pictures located there, to change their size, and to modify their brightness or hue. JPG as well as BMP pictures are supported. You can also use the program for viewing and editing pictures from your holiday or other games.

The biggest advantage of the program, however, is the possibility of combining a picture from the Sims with a background of your choice. So you can very simply display your darlings in a photo from your real-life holiday!

Still having problems with Zipped Files? Install this program and install it. Save your zipped files to your desktop and open this program from your Start Menu and Click on SimsPlus! You will find the program there. Drag your zipped files to SimsZip! They will be installed automatically! Please note your game must be installed on your “C” drive for it to work. SimsZip does not support house files, those will not work. Please do not try them with this program.

The Add-on Handler

This installs any known file for The Sims to your game, including objects, walls, floors, (buyable) skins, roofs, houses (and families or exported areas) and animations. You can install a whole bunch of zip-files at once, without opening each one separately. Skins (bitmaps) are checked for errors upon installation. You can also delete files (with preview), put objects into FAR files and so speeding up the loading process of The Sims and more.

The Sims Sim Eraser

Are you trying to reinstall The Sims or an Expansion Pack and your computer is telling you that the game is already installed? Well have we got a fix for you!

SimEraser will clean the registry information that could be preventing you from installing any of The Sims products. This program will not, however, delete any files from your hard drive. If you wish to remove installed game files, you must do this manually. Once finished, you should reinstall in the following order: The Sims, Living Large, House Party, Hot Date, Vacation, Unleashed, Superstar and Makin’ Magic.

The Sims Eraser is also available on your installation CD in the Eraser folder. If you don’t see it there, you can download this version.
