Neighborhood Editors

These tools should work if you have The Sims or its expansions for the PC. They allow you to edit the lots or layout of your neighborhood. To download the files, you may either click the ‘Download Here’ button to start the process or you may be directed to a specific site where you can download it from there. You can also view a larger picture of the program by clicking on the thumbnail image provided.

Downtown Phone Replacer

Sims Plus! Downtown Phone Replacer. Have you deleted your phone downtown? Sims can not get back home without it. This will create a new one if there aren’t any on a Downtown Lot. Enter the lot in Downtown Build Mode, place the phones where you want them ( they will be near the corners of the lot ) and save the lot.

Mailbox and Trashcan Replacer

Updated for Hot Date! Has your Mailbox disappeared? Have you accidentally removed your Mailbox or Outdoor Trash Can? This will detect if they are missing and create a new one for you. All you have to do is enter the lot. Then use the Move Objects On cheat in Buy mode to put them where they belong. More help and a Mac version of the download can be found at the Sims Plus website.

Sims LotManager

Sims LotManager will allow you to create new neighbourhoods, swap neighbourhoods and copy houses from one to another. You can also name your neighbourhoods (only Sims LotManager and Sims BodyShop will use these names).

The Neighborhood Handler

This program can easily manage your neighborhoods of The Sims with. If you don’t have one of the expansion packs, you can have multiple neighborhoods by using The Neighborhood Handler. You can make back-ups of your neighborhoods so they don’t get lost when you want to uninstall the game. It can also do many more other things, like copying houses or families.
