HoodReplace
Download: Click here
Creator: Mootilda
Source: Mod The Sims (MTS)
The HoodReplace program will copy any selection of: terrain, roads, bridges, trees and decorations from one Sims 2 neighborhood to another, completely replacing the selected elements from the existing neighborhood.
Because this program allows you to select which elements to copy, rather than having to copy everything, you can do things which used to be very difficult. For example: you can now add roads to a neighborhood without losing your existing neighborhood trees and decorations.
LotAdjuster

Creator: Mootilda
Source: Mod The Sims (MTS)
The LotAdjuster allows you to modify a lot in “The Sims 2″ in a variety of ways, including
- Move a lot within a neighborhood; move a lot away from the road.
- Enlarge a lot over the road; allow building on both sides of the road.
- Enlarge a lot up to a size of 6×6, which is the EA-imposed TS2 limit.
- Add and remove roads; create a roadless lot; create a lot with multiple roads: corner lot, alleyway, service road, square.
- Shrink a lot; allow building to within one tile of the edge of a lot.
- Unlock tiles on a lot.
- Fix vehicle and pedestrian portal locations, as well as the location of the mailbox, trash can, and phone booth.
This version of the LotAdjuster works with all expansion and stuff packs, up to and including The Sims 2 Free Time.
The LotAdjuster is the successor to the LotExpander.
LotCompressor

Creator: Mootilda

The LotCompressor will make your lots smaller, so that they are easier to share. A “compress all” feature allows you to compress all of the lots in an entire neighborhood or subhood.
Although I wrote this utility to help with sharing lots and neighborhoods, it can also help to reduce the size of your save game on your hard drive by permanently reducing the size of your lot bin and all of your community lots. Since community lots are not saved as you play, the size reductions will remain in effect unless you modify these lots.
The LotCompressor shrinks the size of your lots by removing several unnecessary images. The missing images are not necessary and will regenerate the next time that you save your lot. Removing these images can significantly reduce the size of your lot. As an example, the subhood that I compressed went from 45 MB to 20 MB (see attached images). Your results may vary.

The program is using some DLLs from SimPE (included in Setup).
Big thanks for Quaxi for this and his whole work for the community!
